I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, along the border where cultures meet and neighbors depend on one another. I grew up in a community that believed in rolling up our sleeves, working side by side, and building strong communities through service, responsibility, and shared effort.

Those early experiences shaped my belief that every human life has value and that communities thrive when individuals contribute their time, skills, and care for one another.

At the age of 13, while battling childhood cancer, my faith took root during a season of uncertainty and hope. That experience shaped my understanding of courage, gratitude, and compassion, values that continue to guide my life and service today.

Before founding Radiant Swim School, I served children and families as a teacher, investigator, and advocate. Through that work, I learned that strong communities are built through both compassion and accountability.

When my husband, Randy, began contracting with the U.S. military, we moved to Glen Rose to establish a home base for our family. Through Radiant Swim School, I found not only purpose, but belonging in a community that quickly became home.

Since 2018, Somervell County has been my home. This is where my roots have taken hold, where my family and I have invested our lives, and where I am committed to serving with integrity and purpose.

I am running for County Commissioner for Precinct 4 to protect the heart of Somervell County, our land, our legacy, and our livelihood. I believe in leadership that is grounded in community, guided by responsibility, and focused on long-term stewardship.
